The kitchen drawer had become a place where scissors went to disappear. Every time I needed tape, a birthday candle, or the decent peeler, I had to empty the entire thing onto the floor.
I nearly bought a set of organisers. Instead I took everything out and put back only what I actually use. The rest went into a box labelled later, which is a kinder word for not today.
The drawer closes now. That is the whole story, except for the part where I open it unnecessarily because I enjoy the quiet click.
Not every home project needs a before-and-after photograph. Some of them just need to make Tuesday easier.
